Bingo Guide
But if you're a new at online bingo, take a few minutes to cruise through my
guide. I'll walk you through the basics and let you know what to expect.
Choosing A
Site
My favorite site, and the site I will use for this guide, is
Fun Time
Bingo.
The reasons: They have an easy user interface, a good number of players, and
great prize money (they start each hour with a $1000 or more coverall game).
Their chat managers (more about chat managers later) are friendly and very
helpful. I have asked lots of questions and each has been answered cheerfully.
I like the fact that I've gotten fast responses when I've used their online
customer service.
Other games, like keno, slots, and video poker, are available.
Signing Up
As soon as you visit
Fun Time
Bingo, they'll ask if you want to download the software. It's safe to
download and makes registering and playing easy. The download is not required through, you can register and play
directly through their site.
After registering, you will be asked for a deposit. If you wish, you can skip
the deposit and go straight to the bingo game to see what it's like. With no
funds you can't play yet, but you can watch, learn and even participate in the
chat.
When you're ready, there are several options for making a deposit. I used my
credit card without any trouble. You can deposit as little as $10, or as much
as $450.
They have a very good special for new users: 150% bonus (up to $200) on your
first deposit. So if you deposit $50, they add a bonus of 150%, so you end up
with $125 to use in games. Ok, let's play BINGO!

The Game
You'll find that it's much easier to play bingo on your computer than in a
bingo hall.
Just click on the "play bingo" link. You'll get a list of the current
game(s), number of players, prize and jackpot.
Click on the game of your choice and the fun begins! You'll get cards to choose
from, and see: the time left before the game starts (if it's not already in
progress), the pattern, the card price (usually ranges from a penny to a
dollar), the prize, and the jackpot.
Start by looking down toward the bottom of the page where the "chat"
program is, and click "join a room", then select the current room.
You'll get to see the chat going on.
Say 'hi' and then lurk for a little while. Watch the games and chat. Ask any
questions you have by clicking in the box directly under the chat, typing your
message and pressing 'send'. The person writing who's nickname starts with
"CM" is the Chat Manager.
When your ready to play, just click on the cards you want, then press
"buy". Now you're in the game!
By default, the "auto-daub" feature is enabled. Your card will be
filled out automatically as you watch and chat. No worrying about missing a
call! Even if you lose your internet connection or have to leave for some
reason, your cards will be filled out and your account will be credited if you
win.
What you win
Most games include at least two rewards.
The "prize" amount is determined by how many cards are bought by
players and is awarded to whoever wins. If more than one person wins a game,
the prize split evenly.
The "jackpot" builds over time and is won if a player wins a game in
the alotted number of calls. Just under the jackpot amount there's a section
that says "win's on calls" and two numbers, for example 1-30. If your
card wins on calls 1 through 30 you win the jackpot.
|
"Cover All" games run hourly and have large prizes, often well over
$1000. Like the jackpot, there will be a "win's on calls" range. If
no one wins within that range, the prize is lowered and the game continues
until someone wins.
Cashing Out
You've won! Now what?
The prize money is deposited into your bingo account. To withdraw it, you click
on the "withdraw" link, request the funds, and the money is sent to
you within 48 hours.
If you made your deposit through a credit card, the winnings first go back to
your card as a refund, and the remainder of the funds can be sent to you via
Western Union, check, or your NeTeller account. NeTeller is free and easy to
use. It's similar to PayPal.
The way I do it is have
Fun Time
Bingo send my winnings to NeTeller,
and from there I transfer it to my bank account.
