Rating: Brief: Great Game Comment: My 2 1/2 year old received this game for Christmas. She got the hang of it after playing it with us just once. Now she plays with it by herself or with others. The educational content is very age-appropriate: beginning numbers and counting, shapes and colors, animals and colors. It will definitely be a good tool to help her learn addition and math in the future.
When we first opened it, the cards were a little curved, but we were able to straighten them out with very little effort. Works great and is a great way to reinforce the educational content found on the Leapfrog DVD's and toys.
Rating: Brief: Looks like a different version than our DISSAPOINTMENT Comment: The picture above looks like a different version that the bingo game we bought. Maybe they have changed the spinner face to address the problem (It also costs less that the one we bought). That said, here is whast happened with ours, which has 3 frogs aroung the circular spinner face:
I bought it for my four year old for Christmas, thinking that the simple shape, animal, and color bingo version would be great for her to play with friends, while she could play the more challenging addition and beginning letter games with an adult's help. Unfortunately, the interchangeable spinner faces are made of cardboard which was warped right out of the package. The same thing came up time and time again on the spinner, which makes it pretty difficult to play the game. It is also a pet peeve of mine when games with mutiple parts do not have an appropriate box for storage. This needs to have a box with a LID, not a side opening flap, and it should have an appropriate space for the chips, along with enough depth to put the spinners in.
We love our Leap Pads and railroad, but this was cheaply made and packaged.
Rating: Brief: Very entertaining game Comment: I bought this game to give my kids something to do when we go to my mother's house. They're now 4 and 8 years old, and they really like it. It keeps them busy for a long time, which keeps the rest of us sane!
Rating: Brief: Great game for ages 3-5 Comment: My son received this as a gift. It has become the family's favorite game because our son can play too. He works on observation/searching, letters/animals, numbers, shapes/colors, and intro to addition. Our spinner boards were a little warped too but we BENT them backwards and got rid of the warp no problem. The game plays beautifully. Highly recommend to all familys with preschoolers and pre-kindergarteners.
Rating: Brief: EXCELLENT game for preschoolers of different ages! Comment: We LOVE this game!!! My 3yo enjoys the animal and shape matching games, my 5yo enjoys the number recognition and addition facts games -- it's SO nice to have a learning toy they can BOTH use! It only takes about 10-15 minutes for us to play a round (which is good -- fast enough to hold interest, slow enough for plenty of turn-taking) and my kids like to play 3 or 4 rounds at a time; when you consider that's between 30-60 minutes with one toy, I'd say it's a success!
Unlike other reviewers, we have had no problems with spinner cards; like the previous positive reviewer, I'm guessing there might have been some defect in manufacturing with those. The boards are constructed of strong thin cardboard, the spinners are solid plastic, the covering coins are sturdy plastic (with Leap's happy face) as is the console in which the interchangeable spinners sit.

The classic game of Bingo gets hoppin' with new LeapFrog twists. The interchangeable "grow-with-me" spinner and cards allow for six different ways to play this version of Bingo. Children can play again and again, learning new skills each time. Interactive and fun, it teaches shapes, colors, animals, letter sounds, counting and addition. Game includes a spinner platform, four spinners, 12 cards, chips, a parent guide and an instructions booklet. For 2 to 4 players.
